Galatasaray are eyeing Crystal Palace fullback Patrick van Aanholt.

The Dutchman comes off contract at Crystal Palace in June and is a target for Gala this summer, reports Sabah via Fanatik.

Gala have no plans to make the loan of Red Bull Leipzig fullback Marcelo Saracchi permanent and instead see Van Aanholt as a better option for next season.

Gala are now prioritising a new left-back signing and has Van Aanholt top of their shortlist. Indeed, a deal has already been proposed to the defender as they seek to settle on pre-contract terms.

Van Aanholt, now 30, has been with Crystal Palace since 2017, having been signed from Sunderland. His last involvement with Holland was in 2018. So far this season, the Dutchman has managed 18 appearances for the Eagles.

In this campaign, Galatasaray sit second on the Super Lig table, two points behind leaders Besiktas, which also boast a game in hand.
