Galatasaray midfielder Wesley Sneijder is eager to see a January move to Juventus clinched.
Sportitalia says Juve will intensify negotiations with Gala over a fee for the Dutchman once they have this week's clash with Inter Milan out of the way.
Sneijder, formerly of Inter, is keen to return to Italy and after initial reluctance, Gala are now willing to discuss a sale.
For his part, Juve coach Massimiliano Allegri wants the deal to happen, convinced he doesn't have a player in his squad of Sneijder's mould.
The priorities for Juve in January are Sneijder and Porto defender Rolando.
