Galatasaray midfielder Wesley Sneijder has confirmed he rejected overtures from Manchester United last month. Sneijder has always insisted he is happy in Istanbul, and it seems that the 29-year-old's position did not change in January.
He told Sporx: "There were clubs who wanted to sign me like Manchester United but I have no intention of leaving and my club have no intention of letting me go.
"Leaving in January didn't even cross my mind and the club have never told me to leave.
"There is still a lot to achieve here we are competing in the league, Turkish Cup and have a chance of beating Chelsea in the Champions League.
"I feel at home here and that's not something you feel everywhere you go."
