Galatasaray midfielder Felipe Melo says Real Madrid are fortunate to be on the brink of reaching the Champions League semifinals.

Melo has no complaints about Gala's 3-0 first-leg defeat, but says Real were lucky to be their opponents.

"I found a very strong team, not much to talk about. They are 3-0 ahead already . Madrid is the favorite, is a very good club and we knew they were very strong," said Melo.

"But I think if Nani had not been expelled for Manchester United this would not have happened..."
