Chelsea icon Didier Drogba is set to be recognised by the Football Writers' Association.

The Daily Mail says Drogba is being honoured by the FWA.

Drogba will be feted by the FWA at their annual tribute evening at the Savoy in January both for his achievements during his first spell at Stamford Bridge and his charity work.
