Everton are ready to drop out of the race for Sheffield United fullback Kyle Naughton.
The Liverpool Daily Post says Goodison officials are furious that Sheffield United appear to be stalling on an agreement for the 20-year-old to become David Moyes's latest summer signing.
Everton last week thrashed out a fee with the Bramall Lane side and personal terms with the right-back and were expecting Naughton on Merseyside yesterday for a medical.
But the situation changed when both Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa registered late interest in the player.
Everton had already had an offer accepted for Naughton worth £4m that would rise to £5m depending on the progress of the defender at the club.
