Fulham midfielder Simon Davies has branded fellow Welshman Ryan Giggs an "absolute legend" ahead of tomorrow's clash with Manchester United.
"I remember he used to have a lot of problems with his hamstrings but he got over that and at 34 he's still quicker and fitter than most in the league. He's an unbelievable athlete and a great footballer to go with it. When he used to come away with Wales he was just a normal guy, one of us. As Captain he would bring us together and it was an honour for everyone to play with him.
"You can't even replace him. It wasn't one of those situations where you say 'who do we replace him with?' everyone just had to up their game 10% to try and make up for it. It's always great to meet up and play against him in the League."
