Fulham target Cousin ready for Rangers exit

Daniel Cousin is ready to leave Rangers for a dream move to England, with his agent claiming 'a number of Premier League clubs' are interested.

The powerful striker looked set to depart Ibrox during the January transfer window after Fulham had a bid accepted for his services.

Following the disappointment of seeing his move to Fulham fall through, Cousin returned to Rangers and helped the club go all the way to the UEFA Cup final and win the Scottish Cup.

Fulham are believed to be ready to rekindle their interest in the big target man, while Newcastle and West Ham are reportedly keeping tabs on Cousin as they seek to bolster their forward options for next season.

Cousin's agent Willie McKay has confirmed the player has his heart set on a switch to England this summer.

"I would expect Daniel to leave Rangers this summer and he is still very interested in a move to England," McKay told Skysports.

"He was disappointed when the move to Fulham in January was blocked, but he showed what a real professional he was by returning to Rangers and scoring a few important goals for them.

"He would love the chance to play in the Premier League and there is interest from a number of clubs."
