Fulham set to swoop for Viduka

Fulham are the latest club to show interest in Australian striker Mark Viduka. The 33-year old was close to a deal with Portsmouth earlier this week but negotiations have collapsed due to Sulaiman Al-Fahim's takeover of the club hitting a snag.

Viduka, who left Newcastle United at the end of last season, is being eyed by Fulham boss Roy Hodgson who is keen to add some quality to his relatively small squad.

The former Celtic, Leeds and Middlesbrough star flew into London for talks on Wednesday night.
