Fulham's Trotta joins Wycombe on loan

Fulham youngster Marcello Trotta has joined League One outfit Wycombe Wanderers on loan.

The 19-year old Italian has been with the Cottagers since 2009 but will now head to Adams Park for a month as Gary Waddock looks to improve his side's goals per game average of less than 1.

Trotta has been in great touch for the Fulham reserves in the past two seasons leading to him being named the club's academy scholar of the year and Waddock is excited about his arrival of ahead of the weekend's clash with MK Dons.

"We've been watching him for a while and we are delighted that Fulham have allowed us to add a quality player to the group," Waddock told the club's official website. "He's a goalscorer, a natural finisher who comes alive in the box. That's one ingredient we've been missing recently."

Trotta added: "I'm very happy to be here and I'm sure it will be a good experience. I'm looking to play some first-team football and my target is to score goals for the team. Every time I get the ball I look to do something positive."
