Steve Sidwell has been hit with a three-match ban following his red card on Monday night.
The Fulham midfielder was sent off late in the 3-2 win over QPR at Craven Cottage for a challenge on Armand Traore but the club appealed the sanction in the aftermath of the match.
However, the Independent Regulatory Commission has upheld the suspension meaning Sidwell will miss upcoming clashes with Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Chelsea.
