Martin Jol is delighted to have Ashkan Dejagah at Fulham.
The 26-year old Iranian midfielder joined the Southwest Londoners from Wolfsburg on deadline day and Jol is looking forward to having the talented player at his disposal.
"He is a player who is pretty young, and played in the Bundesliga," said the ex-Hamburg boss.
"I know him very well from when I was in Germany, so I thought to get some competition in that area was good, he also wanted to come to England at Fulham, so it was a nice transfer to get him over here."
Dejagah, who signed a three-year deal with Fulham, is in the running to make his Premier League debut when West Bromwich Albion visits Craven Cottage tomorrow.
