Fulham star Clint Dempsey has made it clear that he wants to go to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
The 28-year old attacking midfielder is currently preparing with the USA national team for two friendlies against Honduras and Ecuador on Saturday and Tuesday respectively and says he has his sights set on a third World Cup with his country.
"I want to play in another World Cup and I'm looking forward to Brazil," Dempsey told Fulham's official website.
"Hopefully we can qualify for it. We want to make the most of our careers and play in as many competitions as possible.
"That's the way I look at it and it's my main goal right now. I will assess things after that World Cup as to whether I'll continue my international career or not."
