Fulham have so far been unsuccessful in their pursuit of Giancarlo Gonzalez according to Sky Sports.
The Cottagers have reportedly had two offers rejected by MLS club Columbus Crew as they look to lure the 26-year old Costa Rican defender to England.
Gonzalez, who joined the Crew from Norwegian club Valerenga earlier this year, was a star performer for Los Ticos at the recent World Cup which has prompted interest from around Europe.
It is believed that Fulham's bids of around £2million ($USD3.5m) have been turned down by Columbus because they are expecting more substantial offers from other clubs.
