Fulham have opened new contract talks with defender Brede Hangeland.
At yesterday's media conference, Cottagers boss Martin Jol confirmed talks have begun to extend the deal of centre-back Hangeland, whose contract runs out in 18 months.
The Norway defender has made it no secret he is happy at Craven Cottage.
