Fulham are in talks for Colombia striker Jhon Cordoba.
The Daily Mail says Cottagers manager Martin Jol has made his move to beat off competition from Espanyol for the 20-year-old who plays for Mexican side Chiapas.
The powerful forward will not meet initial requirements for a work permit as he is a Columbia U20 international but Fulham hope to win an appeal on the grounds that he is a special talent.
