Fulham are being linked with a move for Arsenal defender Philippe Senderos.

The Switzerland international has been set to leave the Emirates Stadium for some time now after spending time on loan with AC Miland and Everton in the past few years but no permanent deal has ever eventuated.

Now, however, Arsenal's London rivals Fulham are believed to be interested in the 25-year old as they seek cover for departing centre-half Chris Smalling who is off to Manchester United.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger would be prepared to part with Senderos even though the future of William Gallas still hangs in the balance.
