Fulham have the edge on QPR in the battle for Tottenham midfielder Scott Parker.
The Guardian says QPR hope to persuade Parker to drop out of the Premier League having indicated they would be willing to meet Tottenham £2m valuation for the England midfielder.
But in a World Cup year, that may be difficult if top-flight clubs seek to secure his services, though only Sunderland have expressed an interest in a player whose instinct would be to remain in the capital.
Fulham, who still hope to add the Wolves winger Bakary Sako to their ranks, may yet emerge as a likelier destination.
