Fulham are closing in on AS Roma goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg.
Dutch media sources say Fulham and Roma have agreed a €3 million fee for Stekelenburg, who came close to signing for the Cottagers in January.
Negotiations are now at an advanced stage, with the goalkeeper due in London next week for a medical and to sign terms.
Stekelenburg will arrive as a replacement for veteran No1 Mark Schwarzer, who is coming off contract and refused new terms tabled.
