Fulham fullback Matthew Briggs is reluctant to leave on-loan next season.
Briggs wants to be pushing for a first team place under manager Martin Jol.
"I went out on loan for a couple of months, and it was a good experience for me at the time and good to get some minutes under my belt because I needed to go out and get some games," he explained to fulhamfc.com. "Ideally, I'd prefer to stay here and fight for my place next season, and if an opportunity becomes available I want to try and take my chance.
"My target for next season is to definitely get some more Premier League games under my belt and do as well as I possibly can whenever I'm called upon."
