Clint Dempsey has again been left out of Fulham's squad for this weekend's trip to take on Manchester United.
The USA international is still holding out for a potential move to Liverpool and whilst that is in the wings, Cottagers boss Martin Jol is refusing to play him.
The Dutch tactician admits that the situation enveloping Dempsey is extremely frustrating as he continues to wait for an official approach from the Reds.
"It's the same situation. There has been no formal bid on the table and nothing has changed," Jol said.
Fulham, who beat Norwich City 5-0 at home in last weekend's season opener without Dempsey, take on United at Old Trafford on Saturday following the Red Devils' 1-0 defeat at Everton on Monday night.
