Fulham boss Martin Jol will wait until the next transfer window opens in January before possibly moving for Marseille marksman Andre-Pierre Gignac. The Ligue 1 side pulled out of the deal after missing out on the signing of Juventus striker Amauri on deadline day.
Despite the setback, Jol has hinted that he may put in a further bid for the 25-year-old in the New Year.
"We had the player here and thought we would get him on loan, but Marseille decided they needed him back," he told the Fulham and Hammersmith Chronicle.
"We have established a good relationship with the player and club, so we will see what happens in the future."
