Fulham boss Kit Symons is thrilled to be named fulltime manager.
And if Symons fails to deliver during his 18-month tenure at Craven Cottage at least he will do it with a smile on his face.
He said: "It is a big ask but my aim is to deliver results. This is a fantastic opportunity for me and I fully intend to embrace it.
"This is where the real business starts [against Wigan tomorrow]. I have hopes and ambitions but I also want to do it by putting a smile on people's faces because I firmly believe that you have to enjoy yourself otherwise what is the point?"
