Fulham boss Lawrie Sanchez was satisfied with his team's performance in their Asia Trophy defeat by Portsmouth.

Despite the defeat, Sanchez was delighted with the effort of his team, including new signings Diomansy Kamara, Chris Baird, Paul Konchesky and David Healy.

"I felt we controlled most of the match," he said. "We created a few chances, especially in the first-half, but unfortunately we couldn't take them.

"But that was about the only thing I was disappointed with."

Benjani scored the winner for Portsmouth shortly before half-time.
