Fulham boss Magath: Bent will get his chance

Fulham manager Felix Magath insists Darren Bent will get more chances before the end of the season.

The 30-year old striker, who is on loan from Aston Villa, has not featured for the Cottagers since the 3-1 loss to Cardiff City on March 8 mainly because of personal reasons.

However, the former Sunderland ace has been back training this week and could be a slight chance for Saturday's home clash with Norwich City as the London club look to climb out of the relegation zone.

"I think everybody has had their chance and unfortunately in the last weeks, Darren has some personal issues. It was quiet around him, so I give other players a chance and I think Darren will get another chance next time," said Magath.

"Everybody wants to play. I have to choose after a training session who was good and who has convinced me and so I decide who is playing. He is fit this week and he has no personal issues this week.

"If I come here as a new manager I have to take care of all the players, not only Darren Bent. I have to give everybody a chance to show the fans, the club and me how good he is."
