Fulham are eyeing Tottenham midfielder Tom Huddlestone.

The People says the Tottenham midfielder's ongoing recovery from an ankle injury is likely to thwart Martin Jol's ambition, however, as he is not expected to be match-fit until next month.

Jol was a massive admirer of Huddlestone during their time together at White Hart Lane, and once famously likened the player to Franz Beckenbauer.

The Dutchman later tried to sign him for Bundesliga club Hamburg.
