Fulham boss Martin Jol has likened Damien Duff to his former Chelsea teammate Arjen Robben.

The versatile Irishman ended up forging a right-wing partnership with the Dutch superstar while at the Bridge.

Boss Jol said: "I've known Damien for a long time. I've managed teams against him.

"If you get him on the ball higher up the pitch I think he's a real handful - he's like Robben.

"But if you have to defend 4-4-2, it's different for him. He will work because he's educated like that - unbelievable.

"He's disciplined and a team player."
