Fulham boss Mark Hughes admits he's impressed with Newcastle United striker Andy Carroll.
Hughes, who himself knows a little about combative centre-forward play, backed Carroll to make an impression, but was delighted with how Brede Hangeland and Aaron Hughes handled the blossoming talent.
He said: "He's a handful, that's what everybody says about him. Physically, he is a big guy and has outstanding ability in the air, which is always a bonus for teams.
"If they are able to get quality balls into the box and they have got a player such as him, he is going to cause problems for the opposition.
"That's the pleasing point from our point of view, that we were ale to keep him outside the box for long periods today, and that's the key to keeping him quiet."
