Fulham boss Hodgson hoping to keep Schwarzer beyond 2010

Fulham manager Roy Hodgson is keen to hold onto goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer beyond the end of next season.

The Australian international has hinted he may leave Craven Cottage at the end of the 2009/2010 season but Hodgson is intent to keep him.

"Mark has been special for us and I believe he's interested in prolonging his stay. We certainly want him to remain with us despite the fact that he's not young anymore," Hodgson said.

"I don't see any danger of him going anywhere. We're determined to keep him and I'm sure he will be happy to stay."
