Southampton midfielder Andrew Surman has cooled talk of leaving St Mary's.
Fulham and Blackburn Rovers are among Premiership clubs to be linked with the England U21 international, who told the club's official website: "A lot of things have been said in the paper about as far as I'm concerned they are just rumours. I am a Southampton player and I'm happy here.
"Every player in the Championship would love to play in the Premier League one day, but I just want to keep doing what I am doing for Southampton.
"It's nice to be linked to big clubs, but you don't want to get too excited about paper talk because a lot of it is not true."
