Defensive trio Phil Jones, Brandon Williams and Axel Tuanzebe are set to stay this season.

Jones has not trained with the squad all summer and started two games in the last two years while Tuanzebe left the club's pre-season tour after the first game in Bangkok and Williams has been unavailable through injury for nearly two months.

On the trio, Ten Hag said: "It can be but we are talking about players who are not available so I don't think they will go out in this window."

He also stated: "We need players, clear, but we need the right players. The whole transfer window, we are happy with what we did until now but the bar has to be high."
