Fringe players giving Stoke boss Pulis selection headache

Stoke City boss Tony Pulis admits he has a selection headache.

Pulis says the performances of Danny Higginbotham and Jonathan Walters in place of Andy Wilkinson and Jermaine Pennant at Wigan further underlined the strength of his squad.

"I thought both did terrific at Wigan," he said. "That's what we are about. It's all about the squad, not the team, and that's they way it must always be."
