Former Blackpool striker Freddy Adu has joined Finland's Kuopion Palloseura (KuPS).

It is the USA international's 11th club in his career.

The 25-year-old was tipped to become one of the world's best players after breaking through as a teenager with DC United, but has struggled to live up to expectations at a succession of clubs ever decreasing in stature.

Adu has signed a 12-month deal with KuPS.
