The Telegraph says departing Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola remains Blues owner Roman Abramovich's No1 choice.
But he is continuing to consider other candidates, such as Real Madrid's Jose Mourinho, Marseille coach Didier Deschamps and France coach Blanc, who has been pushing for an offer.
