Fifa has received four bids for the hosting rights to the 2023 Women's World Cup, including a joint submission from Football Federation Australia (FFA) and New Zealand Football (NZF), reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.
Fifa has also received bids from the Brazilian Football Association (CBF), the Colombian Football Association (FCF), and the Japan Football Association (JFA).
The governing body confirmed the candidates following a submission deadline of 13th December and will now conduct inspection visits to each country between January and February 2020. A final decision is expected to be made at a Fifa council meeting in Ethiopia's capital city of Addis Ababa in June 2020.
