Rino Foschi admits he was stunned by his dismissal as Palermo sports director during the week.

"I won't hide that there is some bitterness," Foschi told Radio Kiss Kiss. "But football is like that and you just have to accept it.

"Zamparini is the best President that a director could have and has been the most important person in my professional life.

"I want to have good memories of Palermo from the people to the President because they were great years for me.

"Now I will have a think about things and wait to see what happens."

Ex-Lazio man Walter Sabatini has replaced Foschi at the Stadio Renzo Barbera.
