Fortuna Sittard midfielder Halilovic: I played for Barcelona and AC Milan - but it's not enough

Fortuna Sittard midfielder Alen Halilovic concedes he regrets how he handled his time with Barcelona.

Halilovic rues his decision to leave Barca in 2016 for Hamburg.

He told Marca: "I should have listened to Barça, and stayed on loan in LaLiga.

"However, I felt that I was prepared to play for Barcelona's first team and decided to go abroad. If I could change something in my career, it would be to have continued in Spain.

"My dream, as a child, was to play for Barcelona and Milan. I achieved it, but I am not satisfied. I don't want to say I was in Barça and Milan... and that's it. I want to return to this level and show that I have the quality to play there."
