James Forrest is expecting three tough contests when Scottish giants Celtic come to town this winter.
The 19-year old winger is part of the touring Hoops squad that will travel to Australia for a two-week, three-match tour and he feels that Perth Glory, Central Coast Mariners and Melbourne Victory will all provide stern tests.
"Obviously you don't really hear about the players or teams over there much but once you go over and play them you realise they are still good players, so it's three hard games and should be good for us," he said.
Forrest, who received his first Scotland cap on the weekend, also said it was a great opportunity to get plenty of fitness in as the Glasgow club look for a big pre-season after failing to take this season's Scottish title from Old Firm rivals Rangers.
"We will do some running before the games and have the three games so hopefully everyone gets enough time on the park to get their fitness up and as that will be the main objective," he added.
"It's about your fitness but you still want to win the games and perform well. So it will be hard but all the boys will all be looking forward to it once they get back for pre-season."
