West Ham United star Pablo Fornals joked that keeping Michail Antonio fit will determine the course of their season.

The Hammers are even more reliant on Antonio at the moment, as he is their only reliable goalscorer.

Sebastien Haller was sold to Ajax and no replacement has arrived as yet.

Asked about Antonio's importance, Fornals told the Evening Standard: "A lot. I think he knows he is the best striker for how we play.

"He keeps the ball, he fights and he gives us spaces to run away and he is so important for us.

"Mickey before the injury and during last season was so important for us.

"Now we've sold Seb so we need Mickey and we need him being as fit as he can. I am very happy he's back because you could see we are always trying to find one another and that is how the goal came."
