Ferrie Bodde is set to begin pre-season training as he looks to get himself fit ahead of finding a new club.

The 30-year old Dutch midfielder was released by Swansea City at the end of last season, mainly due to injury problems, which is now getting on top of.

Bodde's agent Frank Schouten has revealed that his client is ready to return to training while he fields offers from clubs in England.

"Ferrie has been given the all clear by the surgeon and he is already on a rehab course with his own physio," said Schouten.

"We think he will be 100 per cent within a few months and we are talking with a number of clubs about the prospect of him coming over for pre-season training."
