Former Newcastle United captain Bob Moncur expects massive changes this summer.
Moncur believes Newcastle will stay up, but an overhaul will be required for next season.
He wrote in the Evening Chronicle: "We all know there will be a big inquisition at St James' Park this summer no matter what happens on Sunday against West Ham United.
"And everybody knows what is at stake between now and then as we again have to ask the fans to get behind the team at St James' Park.
"Clearly there has to be changes next season but for now it really does boil down to the 90 minutes against West Ham.
"After that the post-mortem will come and I am sure a lot will need to be sorted out in the summer months.
"The hard work will only be just starting in many ways."
