The agent of Ciprian Marica suggests his client is set to move to Arsenal.
The 27-year old Romanian striker is a free agent after leaving Schalke at the end of last season and is likely to sign with arsenal says his representative Giovani Becali.
"He is close to Arsenal, we'll see this week," said Becali. "Marica is a very good striker, a Romanian national player who has great experience."
The former Dinamo Bucharest, Shakhtar Donetsk and VfB Stuttgart attacker scored just five Bundesliga goals over the past two seasons with Schalke.
