Former Schalke star Jones loving US relationship with Toronto's Bradley

Jermaine Jones insists his USA national team partnership with Michael Bradley is continuing to flourish.

The Besiktas midfielder, who left Schalke in January, plays alongside the Toronto FC recruit, formerly of AS Roma, and admits he loves the on-field relationship the two have formed in recent years.

"I feel very comfortable playing with Michael," Jones said at US training ahead of Wednesday's Cyprus friendly with Ukraine.

"I think we understand each other well and I enjoy playing that position with him. We've now played together for three years and I think both of us will speak only good stuff about each other."

As for his apparent monopoly on a holding midfield position for the 2014 World Cup, Jones suggests he is in the same boat as every other US player who is being monitored by head coach Juergen Klinsmann.

"I think the pressure is the same for everyone," he added.

"Everyone needs to be fit for the World Cup. That's perhaps the biggest pressure. You can only play if you're 100 percent fit and that's something any player can suffer from. Everyone has the same chance to make the team."
