Patrick Kanyuka is still on trial with Chivas USA as the Los Angeles-based club goes about settling their roster for the 2012 MLS season.
The 24-year old Congolese-born defender is jockeying with six other players to win a spot on the Goats' squad and from all reports performed well in a recent trial match.
Kanyuka, who was raised in England, kicked off his career with QPR in 2004 and has since played for Swindon Town, Northampton Town, CFR Cluj, Lincoln City and Tamworth.
