Australian striker Danny Allsopp was one of two players to make his debut for MLS club DC United on Wednesday.
DC played out a scoreless draw with Toronto FC in Bradenton, Florida and ex-Melbourne Victory and Al-Rayyan forward played his first match for the club along with Honduran defender Quiarol Aruz.
Almost ten DC first-teamers were unavailable due to national team duty and injuries including Troy Perkins and Chris Pontius (USA squad) and Santino Quaranta, Bryan Namoff, Julius James, Danny Szetela, Josh Wicks and Christian Castillo (all injured).
