Former Man City, Lazxio midfielder Dabo makes MLS debut for NE Revs

Ousmane Dabo finally made his MLS debut for New England Revolution on the weekend.

The former Manchester City and Lazio midfielder played 75 minutes of the scoreless draw with Colorado Rapids at Gillette Stadium and said although he was tired, said it was a good feeling to get some minutes under his belt.

"I was very tired at the end, because it's been a long time since I played,'' Dabo said.

"I need game fitness. I need to keep working because I'm not on the top of my fitness.''

And the Frenchman felt that the midfield possession held by the Revs was a big improvement on what they had done in the past.

"We have to do it more, I think we did better than last week,'' Dabo added.

"We kept the ball more. It's very important because I think we have good players and we can play better. They didn't get any chances, maybe one - so, defensively we were good."
