Marseille are closing in on Bacary Sagna.

The French fullback was released by Manchester City last month after three seasons at the club.

Sagna enjoyed seven years with Arsenal before moving to the Etihad.

According to The Mirror, the Auxerre youth product is being lined up for a return to France with Les Phoceens.

Talks between Sagna and the club have stalled due to the former's wage demands, but a deal is still expected to be finalised.

Crystal Palace are also reportedly interested in the 34-year old.
