Xabi Alonso has revealed that the Premier League still holds a special place in his heart.
The Bayern Munich midfielder spent five years at Liverpool from 2004 until 2009 and ahead of Tuesday night's Champions League meeting with Arsenal in London, spoke of his love for England.
The 33-year-old, however, is well aware that a wounded Gunners side will be out to make life very difficult for the visiting German champions having lost their opening two Group F fixtures.
"To see them with zero points after two games is a surprise," said Xabi.
"But it's still tough. The next two games are crucial for us, and even more crucial for them. We know how good they are and if we don't control them well, we may have problems.
"I always love to play in England and still feel attached to the Premier League because of my years at Liverpool."
