Jamie Redknapp says he would go again with Brendan Rodgers as manager of Liverpool.
The Northern Irishman guided the Reds to a disappointing sixth-place finish in the Premier League this season after challenging for the title when finishing second by two points to Manchester City last term.
Rodgers spent £100million last summer after the club sold Luis Suarez to Barcelona but evidently that did not work which is the only question Redknapp has of the manager.
"I would keep Rodgers after the job he did last year, when they played some fantastic football," he said on Sky Sports.
"But when you're getting beaten 6-1 at the end of the season it doesn't do you any good whatsoever.
"Are you going to trust him with another £100m? Because that's what I genuinely feel it needs."
