Mohamed Sissoko is training with French club AS Nancy, according to reports.

The 31-year-old midfielder has been without a club since leaving Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua in February this year.

According to L'Est Republicain, the former Liverpool, Juventus, PSG, Valencia, Fiorentina and Levante man is keeping fit with Nancy during pre-season and if he impresses, will be offered a contract by the Ligue 1 club.

The experienced Malian would bring plenty of sturdiness and know-how to Pablo Correa's squad who are in France's top flight following their title triumph in Ligue 2 last season.
